Job Summary:
A P6 Scheduler (Commercial Construction) who will work under the guidance of a senior scheduler and/or project manager to assist in planning and scheduling responsibilities for small to mid-sized projects. Responsibilities include assembling and analyzing project data, developing basic schedules, and contributing to the identification of potential project risks. This role involves applying fundamental scheduling techniques and cost analysis methods while gaining hands-on experience in project planning and coordination.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Equivalent education, training, or experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in CPM scheduling for commercial construction projects.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SmartPM).
Certifications:
No certification is required, but PSP or PMI-SP certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of construction processes, resource allocation, and cost-loaded schedules.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and ERP cost management tools.
- Foundational knowledge of construction disciplines and scheduling best practices.
- Experience in supporting project schedules, updating timelines, and assisting with project reporting.
Primary Duties:
Develop and maintain project schedules for small to mid-sized projects.
Determine the appropriate level of detail for each phase of the schedule.
Generate regular progress reports and assist in presenting findings.
Help track labor, equipment, and material allocation to prevent conflicts.
Support cost-loaded schedules and productivity tracking.
Identify potential scheduling risks and propose basic mitigation strategies.
Assist in analyzing and incorporating project changes into the schedule.
Work with subcontractors and vendors to verify schedule updates.
Contribute to progress reports and schedule narratives for documentation.
Collaborating with project managers and teams leads to monitoring status and suggest improvements.
