**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

+ Perform various tasks such as (but not limited to)

+ Install, set, and level network cabinets

+ Cut and install uni-strut and fiber troughs

+ Install pull strings through conduits, in ceilings, and down walls.

+ Label/Install copper and fiber jumpers

+ Perform 4 pair continuity testing

+ Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

+ Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

+ Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

+ Reading and comprehending blueprints, port maps, and building documentation/redline work.

+ Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**

+ 4 years experience working within a data com environment.

+ 3 years of in-depth knowledge of network cabling, optic types.

+ 3 years experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.

+ 3 years experience troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.

+ Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.

+ Must have experience working in data centers, telco, IT operations, or related technical field.

+ Any server, OS, Network, or data center certification (including in-progress) are a plus.

+ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

+ Must be a professional, accurate, urgent and provide quality.

+ Ability to work alone or in teams with minimal instruction.
