Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC/Refrigeration Tech Specialist

Perform maintenance and repair of all Chiller-HVAC-Refrigeration to ensure the purpose of maintaining heating/air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remain informed of changes in rules and procedures as required to correct deficiencies and improve performance
• Maintain records and submit regular and special reports as assigned
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, install equipment, and repairs on all mechanical, Chillers-HVAC-Refrigeration systems and equipment
• Diagnoses problems and or failures in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems for the purpose of maintaining quality for our team and guests' experience
• Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items to complete necessary repairs
• Perform general maintenance as directed when not assigned HVAC repairs or troubleshooting
• Adheres to professional appearance standards as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Employee Handbook
• Must meet attendance guidelines as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Employee Handbook
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Required

• High school graduate or equivalent
• HVAC/Refrigeration Commercial license, EPA refrigerant license, and well-informed with NEC
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduit, wire and terminal devices, perform testing and troubleshooting
• 3-5 years' experience as commercial HVAC/Refrigeration technician
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must qualify for company insurance coverage
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
• A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment

Preferred

• State certification or state trade license in one of the following areas: Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing or other as seen fit.
• 5 years in the field of Facilities HVAC/Refrigeration on building this size and knowledge in plumbing and electrical.
