The Opportunity:
Perkins Eastman has an exciting opportunity in our 40-person Boston office. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Project Manager with project management experience in academics projects (K-12 and Higher Ed) in the greater Boston area. This is an immediate opening in our Boston office for someone aspiring to be a lead project manager on exceptional projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of work.
- Manage project staffing, accounting, schedule.
- Lead communications among internal team, consultants, owner, and contractors.
- Manage agreements and authorizations with owners and consultants.
- Support excellence in delivering publicly bid work.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of design deliverables.
- Contribute to the work of studio project management committee to advance excellence.
- Maintain project records including communications, agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Advance the performance of projects through establishment and guidance of project team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Preferably experience with Public Bid 149 and 149A
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the management of complex architectural projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience and passion for high performance, sustainable architectural design.
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Passion for and strong understanding of sustainable design.
