Job Title: Construction Manager Data Center Projects

SummaryOur client, the Global Leader in Technology seeking a highly skilled and independent Construction Manager with a strong background in engineering or electrical trades to lead and support the execution of data center construction projects. This role is critical to project success, overseeing daily site activities, ensuring quality control, and maintaining effective coordination across all stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically proficient, and experienced in managing complex construction scopes, especially within mission-critical environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily construction site activities to ensure progress aligns with project schedules and quality expectations.
Manage subcontractors and vendors, particularly for electrical and MEP systems, ensuring accountability and performance.
Ensure all site activities comply with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve construction-related challenges proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and commissioning teams to support project integration and seamless execution.
Provide regular site progress reports and escalate critical issues promptly to senior stakeholders.
Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure scope compliance.
Support procurement, material tracking, and on-site logistics to maintain construction flow.
Lead on-site coordination meetings and maintain open, professional communication with project participants.
Monitor adherence to contract requirements and ensure outcomes meet or exceed owner expectations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of leading teams and resolving conflicts.
Strong understanding of construction workflows, project scheduling, and site logistics.
Technical knowledge in electrical systems, power distribution, and mission-critical infrastructure.
Experience with data center construction or other critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, labs, telecom).
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; adaptable to fast-paced, evolving site conditions.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), or a related field (preferred).
OR equivalent experience in electrical trades with demonstrated project leadership.
Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments.
Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical scopes on construction projects.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
