Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for an experienced AWS Developer to join our dynamic IT team in Fort Meade, MD. This hybrid role requires candidates to work approximately 2-3 days per week on-site. In this role, you will support the design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures, focusing on networking, identity integration, infrastructure as code, and application layer support using tools like Python, Terraform, and Ansible.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, Terraform or AWS CDK, identity provider integration, API development, and tools like Ansible to support mission-critical cloud solutions in a hybrid, cleared environment.

Qualifications:

Cloud & Architecture:

AWS architecture design and implementation

Identity provider integration (e.g., SAML, OIDC)

Automation & Scripting:

Python (for scripting and task automation)

Ansible (for configuration management)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Terraform or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)

Networking:

Strong understanding of cloud and CNE-based networking

Development & Integration:

JavaScript / TypeScript

API integration

Requirements

7-9 years of professional experience supporting design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures, focusing on networking, identity integration, infrastructure as code, and application layer support using tools like Python, Terraform, and Ansible.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.

An active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance is required.

Must be able to work approximately 2-3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
