Traveling Construction Superintendent
Location: Based in Oak Brook, Illinois
Travel Rotation: 3 weeks on-site, followed by 1 week home. Most travel will be between project sites in the Chicagoland area and Dallas, Texas. Candidates must also be open to occasional travel to other locations across the U.S. as project needs arise.
Training & Onboarding: Initial training will be conducted at our Oak Brook, IL headquarters, a newly renovated space designed to support collaboration and innovation.
We're seeking a seasoned Traveling Construction Superintendentto lead complex industrial and data center projects across the U.S. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at managing ground-up construction, and is passionate about delivering quality, safety, and results.
What You'll Do
As the on-site leader, you'll be the driving force behind project execution, responsible for:
- Managing all field operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Leading safety inspections, orientations, and hazard mitigation strategies.
- Acting as the primary decision-maker on-site, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Overseeing quality control, punch list completion, and project closeout documentation.
- Securing permits, inspections, and approvals from local authorities and utility providers.
- Conducting and recording in-person training sessions on building systems.
- Operating drones to capture weekly site progress for reporting.
- Maintaining detailed daily, weekly, and monthly logs and reports.
- Representing the company with union labor, site visitors, and project stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of superintendent experience in ground-up industrial and data center construction.
- Expertise in precast and tilt-wall construction methods.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and look-ahead scheduling.
- OSHA 30 certification and current CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid training.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide.
- FAA drone certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Familiarity with MS Project (training available if needed).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr.
