Role Summary : The Project Management Supervisor oversees the planning and execution of natural gas construction projects, managing a team responsible for technical, clerical, and project management functions. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, company leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and align with company strategy and regulatory standards. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders. Prior experience in natural gas construction, project management, and supervisory leadership is highly preferred. This position includes regular field/site visits and offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.
What You Will Do
Supervise employees performing technical duties related to capital projects.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders for successful strategic focus area project selection, planning, and execution.
Supervise employees performing various technical activities and clerical functions as applicable to strategic focus area, including:
Full life-cycle project management, oversight, risk management, and site readiness
System capacity monitoring
Economic feasibility and financial analyses
Contract negotiation and writing
Stakeholder Relations
Budgeting and forecasting
Data entry, integrity and documentation management
Communicate and coordinate activities with applicable internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Monitor and report updates for key projects.
Identify complexities, challenges, construction progress and spend against estimate and plan.
Provide information and assistance to various individuals, including employees, vendors, and contractors, relative to the following:
Surveys/staking
Record keeping
Invoices
Policies and procedures
Construction schedules, site readiness, and customer expectations
Fuel switching and conversions
Permits Traffic control planning and coordination
Work in progress
Compile, prepare, verify, and approve reports and information including:
Project, case, and assignment tracking
Capital budget
Job orders and completion reports
Permitting
Contracts and invoices
Requisitions and stores documents
Letters and correspondence
Project estimates and status reports
Process improvement
Trends, corridors, and development opportunities
Develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships by providing information and assistance related to planning, project management, company policy, regulatory compliance and strategic programs to the following parties, as applicable:
Builders and developers
Planning and zoning commissions, city/county development departments, or local equivalent
Customers
Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing contractors
Appliance dealers
Actively coach, develop and mentor direct reports through the establishment of individual development plans.
Develop team plans to drive company strategy, performance results, enhance overall leadership competencies, business performance and enhance collaboration across work groups.

What You Will Need
Minimum Bachelor's Degree Construction management, engineering technology, business administration, other related fields, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience.
Experience in or knowledge of operating clerical, land development, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing planning (MEP), civil planning, computer aided drafting, surveying, and estimating activities.
Experience in use and function of office and drafting tools and equipment including accessing computers, plotters, and calculators.
Application of math and geometric and algebraic formulas.
Experience and training related to:
Dynamics (CRM)Job order processing
Cost estimating
Work management systems (Maximo)
Account classification
Company budgeting process
Operating functions and related procedures
Pipeline construction methods
Line extension policies / tariffs
Corporate organizational structures
Utilize GIS, including spatial queries and analyses
Process improvement
Reading and interpreting civil and mechanical plans
Government and/or company regulations concerning pipeline line sizing and construction methods and meter placement and sizing.
Experience reading and interpreting policies, procedures, manuals, reports, studies, contracts, budgets, job orders, completion reports, governmental regulations, maps, plats, legal descriptions, survey notes, requisitions, reports, traffic control plans, and correspondence.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Develop information, develop presentations, and conduct group meetings.
Train, manage, direct, and/or supervise; knowledge of local codes, permit requirements, policies and procedures.
Experience researching, verifying, processing, and/or preparing budgets, reports, drawings, right of way descriptions, line extension estimates, economic analyses, refund determination, requisitions, job orders/completion reports, and correspondence.
Read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Requires travel to company offices, job sites, and meeting locations throughout service area.
Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Able to move in and around office and field facilities.
Able to communicate and exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations and meetings.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
