We are seeking a Machinist Journeyman to join our Mosinee, WI mill. The Machinist Journeyman will perform skilled job-shop machining in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations policies, permits, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and prioritize work assignments to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

• Machine/Fabricate parts on an as-needed basis.

• Operate milling, drilling, lathe, and surface grinding equipment.

• Interpret and create part schematics/sketches, either by hand, or with SolidWorks.

• Assist apprentice Machinists with their on-the-job training.

• Apply safety standards/safety absolutes on a continuous basis.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid journeyman card, indicating successful completion of an accredited Machinist apprenticeship program, or have equivalent prior experience and training in the Machinist skilled trade.
• Experience in Job-Shop Machining (milling, drilling, lathe operation, and/or surface grinding)
• Preference will be given to candidates who have a technical degree, have completed advanced mechanical training, and/or have welding certification.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is beneficial.
• Pass pre-employment testing, drug screening, and physical assessment
• The ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime

Work Schedule and Location

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday and must have flexibility to work including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Location: 100 Main St, Mosinee WI
