Expected salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). LOCATION This role will maintain an on-site presence at project sites 100% of the work week. For the next 3 years, this role will be on-site at a project in Washington D.C area. For the next 1-2 years, this role will work a 2nd shift schedule, with primary work hours being 4 PM - 12 AM, Monday - Friday. Occasional weekend hours may be required, based on project needs. Following completion of this project, the Construction Project Manager will support other project sites across the Mid-Atlantic region, with a corporate day-shift work schedule anticipated. Travel to other project sites, as needed, will be required. Our ideal candidate will live in the greater D.C. metro or Northern Virginia area. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Construction Project Manager oversees and coordinates all daily site activities of large-scale, energy efficiency-focused commercial construction projects. Primarily responsible for completing projects safely, with a high level of quality, on-time and on/under budget. Supervises day-to-day on-site deliverables of construction projects per contractual requirements by utilizing appropriate resources. Assists in providing oversight of subcontractors, monitors work for compliance with contract documents, coordinates work with building management, supports project team in the implementation of all scopes of work, helps to ensure site quality and safety, and submits detailed daily progress reports. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Plans and coordinates daily project-site activities of assigned projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and financial parameters Reviews project schedules, cost estimation, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from subcontractors and suppliers Oversees project implementation to assure cost, time, quality and execution guidelines are achieved according to the schedule Monitors and enforces site safety compliance Prepares daily reports, logs all issues related to the work, and submits them to the Project Leadership Conducts high-level quality control inspections of the work being performed and documents and informs the project team of deficiencies found Enforces cleanliness of the job site Coordinates site logistics including material storage, material staging and areas of work in accordance with the project schedule MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction project management, or architecture OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience as outlined below: Associate's degree OR 2+ years of construction trade school plus 1 year of relevant construction field experience High School Diploma/G.E.D. plus 3 years of relevant construction field experience OSHA 10-hour card or ability to obtain it upon hire Must be willing to travel and provide on-site support for projects across the US (if necessary). Travel may be for extended periods of time Must be able to work second shift for extended periods of time and weekends as needed Must be able to work full-time on construction project site Must have independent means of transportation to the project jobsite Must have an active driver's license and the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle. All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English. Proficiency with grammar, spelling and punctuation; requires strong proofreading skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and be able to use best judgment in critical decision making Must have strong computer skills and a high level of aptitude using Microsoft Office applications Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position, including walking for long distances, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders & scaffoldings Federal Security Clearance (HSPD12 badge minimum) or ability to get clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management, strongly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of construction trades, scheduling, coordination and installation Commercial construction experience, highly preferred Familiarity with electrical, mechanical (HVAC), plumbing and general construction, highly preferred Ability to read, interpret and comprehend contract language, blueprints, and submittals Experience managing construction project operations as a Site Superintendent, Site Manager, Project Manager or Construction Superintendent, a plus! Prior experience using project scheduling applications, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar Experience with Project Management software such as ProCore Experience in permitting processes with local authorities Experience supporting large-scale, multi-million dollar commercial construction projects, a plus! Demonstrates potential and drive to advance within their career OSHA 30 card is preferred
