Shop Worker Job Description Join our team as a Shop Worker in Dover, where you will work with tool steel, cutting it to precise specifications. This role involves general labor and production tasks using various tools and machinery. Responsibilities Operate machines, hand tools, and power tools to cut tool steel to specific measurements. Read tape measures accurately down to 1/8th of an inch. Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Train on forklift operations, with no prior experience required. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/8th of an inch. Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals. Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment. Work Environment The work environment is a large open warehouse, where you will work with a team of approximately five people. Be prepared for temperature fluctuations, as it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with forklifts frequently moving around. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, New Hampshire. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
