An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic controls
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Test systems for proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Document work completed and parts used
• Respond to service calls and emergency situations
• Explain system operations and maintenance requirements to clients
• Order parts and maintain inventory of tools and equipment

• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training or associate degree in HVAC preferred
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of local building codes and HVAC standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed

• Experience with building automation systems
• Knowledge of energy efficiency principles
• Familiarity with different types of HVAC systems (residential, commercial, industrial)
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
