Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Manager to join our critical power group. The role involves overseeing mission-critical construction projects, with a focus on Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), backup generators, power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, and transfer switches. These systems are crucial for ensuring continuous power delivery to environments such as data centers, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and logistics hubs. Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of projects from preconstruction through to closeout.
- Ensure accountability for safety, schedule, execution, and financial performance.
- Handle profit/loss responsibility and budget forecasting.
- Write subcontractor scopes and manage vendor relationships.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control of design documents and field implementation.
- Lead client interactions and resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain construction schedules and meeting documentation.
- Manage daily operational tasks and provide logistical project support.
- Create and maintain project files and manage project scheduling.
- Manage project billings and the process of sourcing, evaluating, and estimating selected bids.
- Delegate tasks through team resources and adhere to all project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and OSHA.
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
- Experience with low voltage, electrical estimating, CCTV, telecom, and critical power.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs.
- Strong preference for candidates with heavy electrical or critical power experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a team, organized and self-motivated.
- High level of attention to detail.
