Steel Fabrication Welder $22-25/hr Job Description Join a well-established, family-owned steel fabrication company in the Columbus area, with a proud history dating back to 1988. Our company supplies structural elements for various facilities, including schools, hospitals, banks, and multi-story buildings. We are seeking skilled welders to become an integral part of our team. Responsibilities Weld structural steel beams together according to blueprint specifications. Perform weld tests, including a 16 gauge steel weld in a flat position. Weld various sized pieces together as laid out for the project. Read and interpret blueprints effectively. Weld primarily in a flat position (90% of the time). Be adaptable to fill different roles as needed, such as operating forklifts and assisting with other projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG and flux core welding. Prior experience welding on steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Capability to weld primarily in a flat position. Additional Skills & Qualifications AWS certification (training provided). Work Environment Work in a non-climate controlled facility with shifts from 6AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday, or 5AM to 3:30PM Monday to Thursday if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
