Electrical Engineer Pay Rate: Up to $46.90/hr DoE (100% onsite) Location: Hagerstown, MD ZIP Code: 21742 Job Type: Contract Start Date: Right Away Keywords: #electricalengineer #aerospace #defenseindustry JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Apply your knowledge and experience to design and create the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies * Design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services. * Responsible for a very wide range projects from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. * Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle of fully integrated systems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering * 2+ years of wire harness design experience required. * Knowledge of engineering principles and practices * Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools * Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis * Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others * Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry * Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) * Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) * Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
