Project Architect
Job Summary:
A prominent and innovative 30+ year multi-disciplined Architecture and Engineering Design Firm is looking for an Architect to join their growing team! With offices throughout Upstate New York, It provides services in a variety of sectors including Municipal, Private Development, Education, Industrial, Urban Development, and Commercial.
The Project Architect will be tasked with day-to-day delivery of architectural designs, construction documentation, administrative tasks, and other routine maintenance duties to keep projects moving along on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Architect will be responsible for project deliverables during all phases of projects.
- Assist project managers with the day-to-day coordination of various projects.
- Produce high quality and accurate construction documents within the allotted time and budget.
- Design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
- Maintain excellent relationships at all levels, internally and externally, with production staff, ownership, clients, consultants, and contractors.
Desired Qualifications:
- B.S in Architecture.
- Architecture License preferred but not required.
- 4+ years of professional experience with a reputable architectural design firm performing schematic design.
- Strong foundational knowledge of construction documentation.
- Experience interacting with outside consulting engineers, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors in a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is required!
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills are essential.
