- Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems.
- Develop computer models/analysis of electrical systems.
- Design convenience power, lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Prepare schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Draft specifications for equipment and systems.
- Prepare reports and determine code requirements.
- Perform and review design computations.
- Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
- Manage design budget and schedule.
- Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform and check engineering calculations.
- Size, select, and specify electrical equipment.
- Coordinate information with vendors.
- Conduct project field site visits.
- Work on low voltage projects (60kV or below).
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
- 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
- Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to collaborate.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience in electrical plant engineering.
- Experience in power plant engineering.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs.
This position offers a hybrid schedule with two days remote and three days in the office. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, encouraging collaboration and innovation to address complex energy and infrastructure challenges.
