Concrete Pump Truck Driver/Operator

Employment is subject to a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

• The Concrete Pump Truck Operator is a skilled heavy equipment operator position working on industrial and construction sites. The Concrete Pump Truck Operator shall be capable of operating the concrete pump and controlling the placement of concrete, by directing the boom. They are also responsible for getting the machine to and from the job site, preparing the truck for operation, cleaning and disassembling following operation, and making sure the pump is ready for the next job. They will also be required to perform vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs of vehicle servicing and repair, and working hours in compliance with both federal and state regulations.

• The Concrete Pump Truck Operator must have a valid Class A or B commercial driver's license ("CDL") license, with current knowledge and understanding of all DOT regulations and electronic logbooks. The ability to obtain and continually maintain a Form MSCA-5876, US DOT FMCSA Medical Examiner's Certificate for Commercial Driver Medical Certification ("Med Card") is required.

• The position requires moderate to heavy physical work, under all environmental conditions. Good physical conditioning is important to success in the position. They must be able to work for 10-14 hours per day (per federal law, no more than 11 hours consecutively and where state law permits). Familiarity with the use of all common hand and power tools, is a prerequisite. Effective communication and listening skills and an ability to travel are prerequisites of this position.

• A typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however work can vary outside of these operating hours as the demands of production require. There may be times where overnight travel is required.
