What You Will Be Doing Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Design Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas supporting the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG). A successful candidate will apply technical expertise to incorporate outstanding ECNs, check, and verify engineering drawings, which include Structures, Systems Installation, Harness, Wire Installation, AEI, Supplier SCD, Standards, etc. Our work involves almost everything from nose to tail and from wing tip to wing tip. Responsibilities for this position may include: - Evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings including all related design data - Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users - Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings and related data meet all contractual, company, and Program requirements - Utilize working knowledge and application experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5 along with ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices - Utilize working knowledge and application experience on a computer aided design system with 3D experience A successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
