Electrical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract job with a client in Mason, OH. This role involves designing and commissioning electrical systems for material handling projects while managing project deliverables and risks. Rate Range: $54/hour to 58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include: Design, execute, and commission electrical systems for material handling projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project execution risks. Interface with clients to develop high-quality, contract-compliant electrical designs. Manage project deliverables, including schedules, tasks, and financial tracking. Prioritize and adapt tasks based on evolving project needs and deadlines. Travel to project sites (up to 60%) to support commissioning and ensure successful implementation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the material handling industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for design and documentation. Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% for project execution and commissioning.
