Product Design Engineer

A Product Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational healthcare company that primarily focuses on products to treat kidney disease, and other chronic and acute medical conditions, in the Round Lake, IL area. This job will assist in routine engineering tasks and product development by applying basic technical knowledge, collaborating with teams, documenting work, and solving problems with limited supervision to support ongoing projects and process improvements.

responsibilities:

• Perform routine engineering assignments to gain experience with engineering methods, techniques, and company policies.
  
  
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications.
  
  
• Solve routine design and engineering problems with some guidance and periodic monitoring.
  
  
• Assist in preparing and participating in technical reviews; organize data and prepare related documentation.
  
  
• Communicate technical and project-related issues clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  
  
• Collaborate effectively as a team member on engineering tasks and projects.
  
  
• Act independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned work.
  
  
• Make suggestions for improvements based on current technical knowledge and experience.
  
  
• Contribute to the planning and execution of development tasks for product revisions, enhancements, or components of larger projects.
  
  
• Use appropriate engineering techniques and methods to meet deadlines after receiving general instructions.
  
  
• Apply working knowledge of basic technical theories and principles to routine tasks.
  
  
• Evaluate the feasibility of simple research and design concepts within area of expertise.
