Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in and around Alameda, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience plus $180/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

Troubleshooting electrical equipment and circuits using proper test instruments
Maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and distribution panels
Performing insulation resistance measurements to assess cable conditions
Supervising and assisting in the installation or modification of shipboard electrical systems
Managing spare parts inventory and submitting requisitions as needed
Documenting system maintenance history, including details of repairs and alterations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Marine or Industrial Electrician
- Experience working with high voltage systems
- Proficient in 480V and 208V AC 3-phase systems
- Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment (e.g., Megger, VOM, amp meters)
- Experience in operational testing of electrical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals
- Ability to create hand-drawn diagrams of disconnected or removed equipment
