We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a LEADING Restoration Construction Company in Tennessee. They have a diverse portfolio and a vast variety of projects. They are in need of an experienced Commercial Restoration PM/Estimator.
The PM/Estimator calculates preliminary job budgets and prepares formal job bids through interpreting blueprints, performing take-offs and estimating job costs. As well as overseeing jobsites and leading their team to a safe and efficient job completion.
Commercial Restoration Construction PM/Estimator Primary Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
- Outlining work plan and assigning duties, responsibilities, scope authority to project staff; awarding subcontracts and issuing purchase orders
- Arranging all permits, drawings, and submittals required; negotiating and executing all change orders.
- Preparing project reports for management, clients, and/or others.
- Conferring with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems, modifying schedules or plans as required.
- Preparing and maintaining job costs on a daily/weekly basis and reviewing with project personnel.
- Monitoring project closeout: final quantities, final change orders, and final releases from agreements.
- Obtaining letter of acceptance.
Commercial Restoration Construction PM/Estimator Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in Commercial Restoration Construction PM/Estimation
- Must possess a working knowledge of commercial restoration construction documentation
- General contracting knowledge
- Ability to write and review contracts
- Experience with Xactimate software
- BS/BA in Construction, Engineering, or Business is a plus
- Knowledge of Mold Remediation, Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration processes and theories.
- Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy
- Must have imagination and strong problem solving skills, with a strong technical orientation.
- Ability to weigh decisions carefully and thoroughly based on expertise in order to avoid unpredictable risk.
- Ability to identify, correct and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.
- IICRC, FSRT, AMR, WRT Certifications a plus
Commercial Restoration Construction PM/Estimator: $70k-$90k annually
