What Youll Be Doing:

Fabricating high-pressure vessels using flux core and combo welding processes. Youll be tested on plate and pipe weldsyour work must speak for itself.

Weld Test Breakdown (Dont Skip This):

Step 1 5F Plate (3/8 Multi-Pass Filler)

MUST pass this visual test or youre done.

Step 2 GTAW/FCAW 6G Pipe (2.5 XXS)

Root pass inspected. Fail? Test ends.

Step 3 FCAW Plate

2G, 3G, 4G on 1/2 plate

Root pass inspected again.

Step 4 GMAW Plate

2G & 3G with open root.
3G has vertical down root, rest vertical up.

Step 5 GTAW Plate

2G & 3G on 1/2 plate with open root.
Final cuts and bends for inspection.

Weld tests take 2.54.5 hours.

6G small diameter pipe (Flux + TIG) is a plus but not required.
