Forklift Operator**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team at a state-of-the-art, brand-new greenfield facility in the corrugated packaging industry. We are seeking a highly motivated Forklift Operator who can thrive in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in maintaining a focus on safety, quality, integrity, teamwork, customer satisfaction, ownership, and productivity.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move products from production lines to trailers.

+ Load trailers according to customer requirements to ensure damage-free transport.

+ Pass a Forklift Test to qualify for equipment operation.

+ Understand and utilize the Loading Summary manifest sheet for product distribution.

+ Use an RF Scanning system to identify products.

+ Palletize products for shipment, ensuring adherence to customer pallet requirements.

+ Load products to ensure damage-free shipping using necessary stabilization methods.

+ Meet quality assurance standards when handling products.

+ Handle various unit configurations without damaging products.

+ Report high-risk products to the Team Lead or Warehouse Manager.

+ Report load issues to Team Leads or Warehouse Manager for resolution.

+ Complete required paperwork for pallet check-off.

+ Conduct forklift inspections prior to operation.

+ Pull orders for warehouse releases.

+ Load and unload products from trailers.

+ Participate in inventory control processes.

+ Tag out defective equipment.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2 years of experience operating forklifts (both sit-down and stand-up).

+ 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler and use basic shop math.

+ Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team.

+ High attention to detail and dexterity in controlling equipment and preventing material and equipment damage.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
