GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
The main duty of the Regional Safety Manager is to be a resource for safety managers and crew on job sites in regard to safety protocol. They should be available to visit and train crews on job specific certifications and developmental training. This will include the planning and conducting of safety meetings, compliance trainings, audits, and inspections throughout the job site.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Provide support to construction crew.
Visit job sites to monitor sites safety, inspections, and safety audits.
Manage safety programs, trainings, workshops, and meetings.
Monitor paperwork related to incident management (medical bills, injury report, insurance claims, or medical clearance).
Conducting investigations of workplace accidents and incidents to determine their causes.
Assist with documentation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred.
OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred.
Must have or be able to obtain CHST within 6 months of employment.
Willing to travel and or relocate.
