Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a well-established firm based in Washington, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in the Tri-Cities area. This position suits a licensed civil engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership ability who thrives on diverse private land development projects. The Senior Civil Engineer leads and contributes to the design of single-family subdivisions, multifamily communities, commercial developments, retail spaces, and industrial warehouse projects. In this role, the engineer collaborates with clients, local jurisdictions, subconsultants, and in-house teams to deliver site development solutions that support growing communities. Salary: $105K - $130K DOE Benefits: Paid holidays: 8 PTO: Starting at132 hours annually EAP: Employee Assistance Program Benefit options: 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, PPO and HDHP options with HSA contributions, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, 401k, Discretionary Annual Bonus Other voluntary benefits include the following: Collaborative and Supportive Work Environment, Career Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities: Lead and support civil engineering designs for site development projects Collaborate with project teams, clients, agencies, and subconsultants throughout the design process Prepare engineering calculations and civil design documents for roads, grading, stormwater systems, drainage, water and sanitary sewer infrastructure Produce and review permit and construction documents in Civil 3D Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior engineering staff Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope while meeting quality standards Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) license 8+ years of experience in civil site design, including grading, stormwater, and utilities Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Skilled in stormwater modeling using WWHM, MGS Flood, and other related tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to client satisfaction Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
