HVAC Installer

We are looking for an HVAC Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install HVAC systems in residential properties. You will provide technical support for the Retrofit Department. Perform service and specialty related calls including trouble shooting, zoning, wine systems, start up, quality inspections, etc. Communicate closely with Retro Field Supervisor and Retro Manager as needed. Assist with training and stay up to date with certifications and continued education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debrief Retro Field Supervisor on calls
• Review daily calls and verify that necessary materials/parts are on van
• Perform quality inspections for prior installs to ensure Howard Air standards have been met
• Assist with start-up on day of install as needed
• Perform 1st Utility-16 maintenance visit as needed
• Assist with zoning jobs as needed
• Assist with wine unit installs as needed
• Available to assist with troubleshooting (both by phone and on site)
• Attend monthly all tech meetings
• Attend Retro meetings (1x per month)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• NATE Certification
• EPA Certification
• Level 4 technician and installer
• Advanced customer service skills
