Wire Rope Fabricator / Rigger

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Wire Rope Fabricator to join their team. As a Wire Rope Fabricator, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting essential manufacturing processes of wire rope and chains. Must be a heavy lifter and an expert at reading a tape measure!

Job Title: Wire Rope Fabricator / Rigger

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL

Pay: $18-23 per hour

Shift: M-F 7:30-4:30

What's the Job?

• Fabricate and repair wire rope and chain slings and assemblies.
• Achieve qualification as an apprentice (minimum) or journeyman splicer.
• May operate forklift as needed
• Perform other functions as required to support the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

What's Needed?

• Practical expertise at using a tape measure: proper positioning, reading down to the 1/16 inch
• Experience in a manufacturing role working with various tools to include power saw.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid FL driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR).
