Experienced Carpenter (Full-Time) Residential & Light Commercial

Job Description:

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of full-time carpentry experience

Proven track record in framing, finish work, or remodeling

Technical Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings

Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment

Strong ability in framing, trim work, siding, flooring, cabinetry, and door/window installations

Confident working from plans with minimal supervision

High precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling

Understanding of structural components and local building codes

Jobsite Responsibilities
Ability to work solo or manage small crews

Solve construction-related problems on the jobsite

Coordinate with other trades and report to supervisors

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean worksite

Keep accurate records of materials, measurements, and time

Personal Qualities
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality

Strong attention to detail and finish

Professional attitude with clients and coworkers

Willingness to learn and ability to mentor others

Sound judgment and a proactive mindset

Preferred/Additional Qualifications
Valid drivers license & reliable transportation

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred or required)

Own set of professional-grade tools

Familiar with local permitting, inspections, and codes

Experience with project management or estimating (a plus)
