Position: Network Construction Project Manager – Fiber & Small Cell
Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 (Hybrid role – Phoenix metro with potential travel to NV/NM)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM AZ time (60 % office / 40 % field)
Duration: Fulltime, 40 hours/week
Projected Travel: ~40 %
Pay Rate: $42 Per Hour
Expenses: Mileage reimbursement for travel and standard cell phone charges

Summary

The Network Construction Project Manager oversees the planning and execution of fiber and smallcell construction projects. This individual will coordinate construction schedules, prepare work packages, communicate with vendors and inspectors, and resolve field issues. A strong focus on data collection, analysis, and timely reporting is essential to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage work packages, vendor purchase orders, and contractor invoices for fiber and smallcell projects.

  • Assist with budget forecasting, milestone tracking, and resolution of pastdue invoices.

  • Coordinate construction timelines and communicate milestones to vendors and internal teams.

  • Produce progress reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively address challenges.

  • Provide administrative support, including correspondence, PO management, and adhoc reporting.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Engineering, Permitting, Regulatory, Operations, and Project Delivery) to ensure consistent, ontime delivery.

  • Maintain awareness of safety standards, fiber completion metrics, and overall project compliance.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and valid driver's license (OSHA10 certification preferred).

  • Minimum three years of experience in telecommunications or wireless construction.

  • Working knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) construction methods (bore, trench, aerial) and smallcell construction.

  • Familiarity with OTDR, PIM, and SWEEP test equipment and techniques.

  • General knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, SmartSheets, and Excel.
