What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will be responsible to direct all aspects of construction project management on an assigned construction project, covering all construction phases from mobilization to project completion, including, but not limited to safety performance, QA / QC, budget, subcontract administration, change management, scheduling, etc.
  • Further, you will ensure that the right product is developed and delivered to meet companys safety standards, quality standard, and contract requirements
  • You will represent Linde in all matters involving local jurisdictional entities during construction effort and utilize construction management methodologies, system and tools as defined by company
  • In this role, you will lead construction project team and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives, internal and external
    track project against safety, schedule, and budget objectives, reporting status to H.O. management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as required basis
  • Further, you will develop and implement recovery plans for schedule slippage and unanticipated eventualities, further prepare or approve periodic management and or customer reports and presentations
  • As well as to prepare and conduct construction project team meetings and conduct meetings with subcontractors are required
  • Also, you must manage construction project budget and control expenses effectively
  • In this function, you will provide feedback regarding subcontractor performance on a construction project team to the manager of construction, and construction project manager for documentation, and action
  • Additionally, you must recommend corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
  • You will be expected to drive construction progress for compliance with safety rulesand regulations and assure all construction activities are in conformance toapplicable work processes.
  • Youwill participate in the issuance of the daily work permits, review and approvecontractor JSAs, identify improvement opportunities and initiate necessaryactions to maintain a safe and productive work site.
  • Further, you will perform field safety assessments, quality audits, and report out dailyon the overall scope, cost and schedule updates.
  • You will assist in review of proposals and bid packages, construction drawings,specifications, and cost estimates for completeness, constructability andaccuracy.
  • Further, you will assistproject teams in contractor solicitation planning, selection, andadministration. Support and advise on contracting strategy,implementation of industry best practices and constructability reviews.

What makes you great

  • You will have a Bachelorsdegree in Engineering or construction management with 3+ years of industrialconstruction experience or Associates degree with 5+ years experience including2+ years in construction management or 10+ years of construction experiencewith at least 4+ years of construction management if no degree
  • Extensiveleadership, interpersonal, communication and change management skills areessential
  • You will also have knowledge/ familiarity with Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Word is required
  • Knowledge/ familiarity with interpreting construction drawings, P&IDs, and electricalschematics
  • Musthave a strong working knowledge of contract management, quality and safetyassessments, and construction management
  • Finally you will have minimumrequired safety training of OSHA 30 certification, strong working knowledge ofLOTO, Confined Space safety, cranes and elevated work
  • Thisposition requires a minimum of 75% travel with the incumbent residing atvarious locations and project specific construction sites throughout the US
