A well-established electrical contracting firm in New York City is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical CAD Drafter/Operator to support ongoing new construction commercial and residential projects . What Youll Be Doing

• Draft electrical layouts using AutoCAD 3D for new construction projects.
• Interpret electrical blueprints and apply electrical codes to ensure compliance.
• Attend coordination meetings , collaborate with project managers, and support the drafting needs of the team.
• Create and revise drawings based on shop drawings and as-built documentation .
• Work independently and efficiently, delivering high-quality drafts under tight timelines.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical CAD Drafter/Operator in new construction .
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 3D .
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and codes confidently.
• Experience working on commercial projects across NYC is a plus.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently with speed and precision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $41.00/hr.
