Position Overview

We are seeking Skilled Carpenters to join our field team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of commercial carpentry. You will be responsible for completing framing, drywall, finish work, and other carpentry tasks according to plans, ensuring safety, quality, and craftsmanship on every job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform commercial carpentry including framing, drywall, doors, trim, blocking, layout, and finish work
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Support site superintendent or foreman with coordination and materials handling
  • Follow OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members on job sites

Requirements

  • 35 years of experience in commercial carpentry
  • Proficiency with construction tools, equipment, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within NJ, Eastern PA, and parts of NY
  • Must have own basic tools
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be comfortable using technology for communication, access construction drawings, email, and documentation of work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with site layout and field coordination
  • Minor concrete or masonry experience
  • Familiarity with construction software (Procore a plus)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
