Summary:
As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leadership team, the Enterprise Payment CFO will be a key partner to the Chief Enterprise Payments Officer, and his direct reports, in setting the strategy, establishing and monitoring key performance metrics, and preparing and maintaining standard financial and management reporting. As the liaison between the Finance organization, the Enterprise Payments organization and Business Segments, this role will identify, analyze, and forecast performance and profitability drivers. collaborate with business leaders to create actions plans, and generate the insights needed to drive top quartile performance.
This team leader will have strategic finance direction for the business to ensure it achieves the strategy and provides analysis and recommendations to adjust course when needed. To achieve this, the Enterprise Payments CFO must provide consistent, regular and clear decision support to the Payments organization while coordinating across multiple revenue and support segments. The coordination is done through the long-range financial planning process, monthly results and forecast, performance management, sales enablement, OKRs, and reporting & presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management. They are also responsible for providing guidance and analytical support for capital investments, including external partnerships and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
This role will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Sr. Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Design and maintain budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with business strategies across multiple products and functional groups, including Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Consumer & Commercial Credit Card, IT, Enterprise Strategy and Procurement.
+ Active member of the Enterprise Payments leadership team to create strategies and tactics to overall improve business performance and drive investments to grow sustainable fee income generation.
+ Partnering with segment CFOs to ensure alignment of assumptions, risks and opportunities to deliver accurate, clear and consistent financial reporting.
+ Attract, develop, and manage a high performing finance team at various levels of experience.
+ Drive organizational design of the Enterprise Payments finance team to ensure sustainable product and process knowledge through a combination of dedicated team resources, central finance team resources, segment finance resources and functional support teams.
+ Maintain pace and delivery of assigned processes and tasks across multiple business segment calendars and competing priorities.
+ Work with fintech partners and vendors to drive cost reductions and efficiency programs through contract negotiation, and process automation.
+ Forecast fee and lending product balance trends based on sales pipelines, interest rates, product initiatives, customer demand, seasonality, and other relevant factors.
+ Forecast and budget personnel, product, vendor, and marketing related expenses.
+ Manage investment process for strategic Initiative development, forecasting, and tracking.
+ Develop business cases through modeling payment related inorganic and partnership growth opportunities.
+ Provide comprehensive analysis of balance sheet, net interest margin, non- interest income, and expenses.
+ Product profitability and pricing analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in quantitative field: Business/Finance/Economics/Math/Engineering required.
+ Minimum of 10 years finance experience in financial services. Payments and card experience are highly preferred.
+ Minimum of 7 years management experience.
+ Strong Excel PowerPoint and financial modeling experience required.
+ Working knowledge of Essbase and related reporting platforms with the experience to develop reporting and data visualization dashboards.
+ Self-starter, able to multi-task effectively and be able to handle stress with composure and professionalism.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
+ Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills with an understanding of the concept of materiality (i.e., knows when information is relevant).
+ Strong personnel management, development, and mentoring skills.
+ Ability to proactively manage issues, assignments, and move work forward with limited direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Masters degree and/or advanced professional certification/education in a related field (e.g. CFA, CPA, MA, MBA) or equivalent
+ Knowledge of the payments industry with specific experience in Treasury management products Receivables, Payables, Disbursements, and Card, Sales processes within the payments industry
+ Knowledge of Emerging Payments, Payments platforms/ Embedded Payments, Payment Processors/ Network and Merchant Acquiring Economics

Compensation Range:
$170,000-$350,000 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
