Construction Estimator
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, which include material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses. The Estimator collaborates closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bid proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Estimating software (BuildingConnected or similar)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
Advanced data analysis skills.
Ability to read plans and specifications.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with local subcontractor and supplier marketplace preferred.
