Title: In-building Construction Manager
Duration: 12 to 18 months Contract

What Hiring Manager is looking for -
- Hiring Manager is looking for strong Construction Manager candidates within the Telecom space with DAS (Distributed Antenna system) / Inbuilding Experience.
- Minimum 8+ to 10+ years of Construction Management experience within Telecom Space.
- We are seeking an experienced In-Building Construction Manager (CM2) to support wireless deployment and construction programs in Kansas and surrounding markets.
- This role is responsible for overseeing all Civil Works on assigned projects and ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards. The Construction Manager ensures compliance with Ericsson processes, customer requirements, and federal/local regulations.
Project & Civil Works Oversight
- Manage and control charges according to approved site designs and scope of work (SOW).
- Ensure only customer-approved materials are used and proper Civil Works guidelines are followed.
- Supervise site activities to align with project goals, scope, and timeline.
- Enforce Ericsson, customer, federal, and local safety and construction standards.
- Conduct site pre-inspections, visual quality checks, and post-construction audits.
- Verify technical compliance of Service Providers and vendors.
- Identify and report poor workmanship or incorrect material deliveries.
- Coordinate all site disciplines and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Attend and contribute to coordination and progress meetings.
- Provide on-site supervision, especially in high-risk environments impacting customer performance.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure the work environment is compliant.
- Verify tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety on-site.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress reports.
- Update and manage construction-specific documentation within Site Handler, including:
- NTP, SOW, RFDS, safety guidelines, QA standards
- NTP receipt verification
- RFDS submission review and change tracking
- Civil acceptance documentation
- Daily PFA progress verification
- Close-out package review and approvals
- Lead site teams with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and suppliers.
- Write claims, process material orders and returns.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and issue resolution.
- Important to know if they an execute and do the work/step in if needed.
- Knowing PEM/troubleshooting is key sometimes suppliers/providers crews struggle knowing how to do certain things, needing to be able to show/lead.
- NORAD is key. Will be one of the interview questions.
- Will walk initial sites with client (PM from Telecommunication - professionalism is key)
