The BESS Site Manager will have responsibility for site safety, subcontractor management, cost control, asset maintenance, and overall project performance and reliability. This role will manage and conduct operations and maintenance activities associated with (3) BESS sites at Rancho Cucamonga, Long Beach, and Springville, CA.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eResponsibilities:\u003c/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eExecute all required tasks and meet the performance measures outlined in the Ameresco contract.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eManage all aspects of the BESS projects, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and resiliency.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eResponsible for site safety and compliance with all environmental regulations.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eDevelop safe operating procedures and ensure they are followed by vendors and all site personnel.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePerform preventative/corrective maintenance of BESS assets per OEM and industry best practices.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eInvestigate all faults, alarms, and other site related issues and implement corrective actions.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eManage sub-contractors and ensure their work is performed in a safe manner and as prescribed.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eCollaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues as they arise.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eEffectively communicate items of importance to internal/external stakeholders. Notify key stakeholders immediately of issues that impact safety or project performance.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMeet all training requirements for this role, including customer required training.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eObtain and maintain customer site access credentials.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eResponsible for daily reporting to Ameresco leadership and the customer regarding all aspects of the project.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eUtilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule, execute, and track all maintenance activities.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eDevelop key performance indicators for site production and vendor performance. Ensure metrics are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eUtilize data acquisition systems to analyze, interpret, and recommend performance improvements.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eTravel as required and provide 'on call' support.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eEstablish a collaborative and cooperative working environment. Ensure all project personnel act professionally and function as a team.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003ePerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eMinimum Qualifications:\u003c/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003eBachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Energy Management, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMinimum 5-years of experience in renewable energy industry (BESS, PV, Wind).\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAbility to re confidential US security information.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eValid driver's license issued by state of residence and in good standing.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eAdditional Qualifications:\u003c/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003e7-years of experience in power generation operations \u0026 maintenance management in utility-scale and/or C\u0026I settings.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eMust be able to travel to sites and 24/7 'on-call' support is required. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eProficient in remotely identifying problems and recommending corrective measures.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eExperienced in interfacing with OEM vendors for solutions and site mobilizations.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAdvanced experience developing maintenance schedules, planning work scopes, managing outcomes, and supervising industrial electricians, operations and maintenance personnel, and other skilled trades.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eRelevant experience and understanding of BESS systems, PV systems, inverters, and industrial controls.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eAdvanced knowledge of electricity, both AC and DC, Arc Flash Hazards, and electrical and electronic testing equipment.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eStrong verbal/written communications, computer, and organizational skills.\u003c/li\u003e\u003c/ul\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAmeresco challenges the brightest, most talented, and creative individuals in the industry by providing an environment that fosters initiative and achievement.
