Your daily
activities will involve interfacing with respective project stakeholders for
planning and execution. This could range from attending project planning
meetings, supporting Generator Service field engineers, work package
development, technical reviews, schedule creation, and tool ordering. In
addition to regular project job duties there will be opportunities to work on
development projects and procedure improvement!
**How YoullMake an Impact**
+ Provide project engineering or major turbine generator repairprojects and manage maintenance.
+ Work integrally with Product Line Managers, Marketing, and TechnicalServices managers to identify and develop projects.
+ Develop detailed work instructions for completion of contract workscopes; Perform project risk assessments.
+ Develop and use schedules which provide clarity of objectives tocustomer and Siemens and permit adjustments to achieve desiredcommitments.
+ Direct involvement in tooling ordering, tooling improvements, anddevelopment projects to meet product line needs.
+ Use Siemens Energy information systems necessary to be effective.
**What YouBring**
+ B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field from arecognized university is required.
+ 5+ years of experience of industry experience
+ Must have working knowledge of large electrical apparatus includingbut not limited to generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds andrepairs.
+ Must possess organizational skills, planning, attention to detailand safety culture.
+ Required amount of travel is 10%, domestic.
