Maintenance Mechanic Second Shift

Join a large international company with locations in New Hampshire, across the U.S., and throughout Europe. We are hiring direct-hire maintenance Mechanics for our Franklin, NH location. This is a second shift position offering up to $40/hour, outstanding benefits, and flexible scheduling. Work with a small team on a flexible second shift.

Position Highlights:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training strongly preferred
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, conveyors, Cut-off Saw machinery, Melting Decks
  
  
• Millwright, Foundry experience, heavy equipment, or aerospace background gratly preferred
  
  
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronic systems and diagnostic tools
  
  
• Able to work independently or collaboratively with line operators to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
  
  
• Comfortable working with high precision and tight tolerances
  
  
• Willingness to work overtime up to 50 hours total per week

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute work requiring knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles, specifications, and local and national codes.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment in compliance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic instruments and tools.
• Collaborate with operators and team members to resolve issues and improve overall operational performance.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 35lbs

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
