Senior Structural Designer - Structural Technician - LNG

Key Responsibilities:
Seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Designer with Offshore/Marine LNG experience- minimum 11 yrs' required.
Reviews project requirements and determines correct format and contents of the required deliverables.
Ensures deliverables are following codes and standards.
Solves difficult technical problems and provides consultation and training.
Coordinate deliverables with other groups to minimize interference or errors.
Participate with other design groups to review and exchange project information necessary for design development.

Overall Responsibilities:

Perform functions requiring advanced knowledge and use of electronic applications, standards, and document control processes/procedures in support of creating or modifying deliverables.
Provide technical guidance to other engineering technicians.
Ensure adherence to Quality Program to deliver accurate and compliant outputs.
Direct and support project teams in using applications to continuously improve methods, processes, and procedures.
Create and develop deliverables based on various design inputs, performing, and coordinating computations such as quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
Understand and meet the needs of internal clients while considering external clients main interests and drivers.
Proactively seek and share knowledge of the latest technologies and processes.

Autodesk AutoCAD
SmartPlant3D
Navisworks
Bluebeam
Knowledge of Aveva E3D (preferred but not required)

Education:

Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
