Looking for equipment operator at concrete plant.

The MEGABLOC Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Poyatos MEGABLOC production line at Orange Pavers. This role ensures efficient production of high-quality concrete blocks while adhering to safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation

Safely operate the MEGABLOC system, including press, conveyors, palletizers, and finger car.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure all systems are ready for production.
Adjust machine settings for optimal product quality.
Monitor automated and manual processes, responding to any system alerts or issues.
Quality Assurance

Inspect blocks during production for defects and maintain product specifications.
Ensure boards and pallets meet required tolerances to avoid production disruptions.
Maintenance and Cleaning

Perform daily and mid-shift cleaning of critical machine components (molds, wagons, hoppers).
Lubricate and apply release agents as required.
Support scheduled preventive maintenance and report any abnormalities.
Safety Compliance

Follow all plant safety rules including lockout/tagout procedures.
Ensure machine guards and safety systems are functional at all times.
Wear proper PPE and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Reporting

Document daily production output and maintenance activities.
Communicate machine performance, downtime, and repairs to supervisors.
Collaboration

Work with maintenance, logistics, and quality control teams for smooth production flow.
Assist in mold changeovers and machine adjustments for different products.
Qualifications
Prior experience operating industrial machinery (preferably in concrete block production).
Basic mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and follow SOPs.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Good physical condition; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
