Civil Engineer - Entry Level

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our team supporting the design and implementation of natural gas distribution mains. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Civil Engineering degree and internship experience who are eager to build a career in the natural gas and utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, route, and test natural gas distribution mains in compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Regularly utilize AutoCAD and GIS software for drafting and mapping.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Conduct quality control reviews of engineering drawings and maintain drawing database accuracy.
• Travel 510% of the time to perform field inspections, take measurements, document equipment, and support Field and Construction Operations teams during installation and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Internship experience in engineering or utilities (preferred).
• Strong interest in the natural gas or utilities sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Naperville, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
