Production Supervisor**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our department workforce, ensuring the adherence to quality standards and safety procedures while meeting productivity goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our production system, Theory of Constraints, and Lean Manufacturing principles.

**Responsibilities**

+ Oversee department workforce and maintain a safe work environment with zero work-related injuries.

+ Ensure quality standards are met according to documented procedures.

+ Understand and manufacture according to the production system.

+ Meet stated productivity goals and follow Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

+ Coach, train, and develop personnel.

+ Help establish and meet departmental budgets.

+ Enforce company policies fairly and consistently.

+ Requisition consumables and other materials as needed.

+ Ensure operator-performed equipment maintenance aligns with established standards.

+ Meet work schedule and attendance expectations, performing within the physical and environmental demands of the job.

+ Communicate personnel concerns to Director of Operations and Human Resources.

+ Assist Human Resources in interviewing and hiring processes.

+ Support other departments with various duties and projects.

+ Fill-in on the shop floor as necessary and attend required meetings.

**Essential Skills**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

+ 2+ years of shop floor experience as an Assistant Supervisor or Lead, or 4+ years of similar experience.

+ Strong leadership, coaching, and delegation abilities.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

+ Proficiency in typing and basic math skills.

+ Experience with MS Office.

+ CPR and Industrial First Aid certification (possess or ability to obtain).

+ Ability to use various gauges and measuring instruments.

+ Limited blueprint reading skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.

+ APICS and managerial education.

+ Experience with Oracle.

The pay range for this position is $72904.00 - $108284.00/yr.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a shop floor setting with exposure to machinery and equipment. You will be expected to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear. The role requires meeting all company work schedule and attendance expectations.
