Carpenter Apprentice**
**Job Description**
The Carpenter Apprentice will perform repairs and new builds for mobile office trailers, encompassing tasks such as framing, finish carpentry, electrical work, flooring, plumbing, painting, and modular building repair. The role involves modifying trailers as requested by customers, ensuring they meet quality standards for scheduled delivery, and conducting service-related tasks in the yard. Additionally, the apprentice will be responsible for completing necessary paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls, as well as performing HVAC system checks and maintenance in accordance with company guidelines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repairs and new builds for mobile office trailers including framing, finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, and painting.
+ Conduct modifications based on customer requests.
+ Ensure trailers are prepared for scheduled delivery dates with stated quality levels.
+ Execute service-related tasks in the yard as requested.
+ Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
+ Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance per company guidelines.
+ May be assigned duties at field locations according to business needs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
+ Experience with hand and power tools, tape measure, and general construction tools.
+ Ability to read general floor plans.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in commercial construction.
+ Electrical and plumbing experience will distinguish top candidates.

The role is based onsite in the yard, performing repairs on modular trailers used for construction sites or temporary office buildings. Work includes sealing doors and windows, replacing siding, fixing roof leaks, and light electrical and plumbing tasks. The work on the exterior is subject to weather conditions, while interior work is performed with heating or air conditioning depending on the season.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
