A day in the life of a Senior Project Manager - Finance Transformation Office (FTO)at VF looks a little like this. As a Senior Project Manager within VF's newly formed Finance Transformation Office (FTO), you will play a critical role in redefining the future of finance at VF. This role sits within the Project Management arm of the FTO and is responsible for ensuring the successful intake, coordination, and execution of regional and global, cross-brand inbound commercial projects, as well as finance driven initiatives that impact the finance function. We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Project Manager to join our Finance Transformation Office (FTO). This role will lead the delivery of high-impact finance initiatives by establishing and managing a centralized project management function. The ideal candidate will bring structure, visibility, and accountability to a dynamic portfolio of finance-related projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and seamless coordination across stakeholders. Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Establish and lead a centralized project management function within the FTO to oversee both inbound commercial projects and FTO-initiated transformation efforts. Utilize IDEA/PPRD to monitor and manage all inbound commercial projects impacting Finance, ensuring transparency and traceability from initiation through completion. Serve as the primary liaison with the Digital Technology (DT) PMO and Finance Leadership Team (FLT), proactively communicating project dependencies, risks, and issues to drive alignment and timely resolution. Define and standardize project management practices, including consistent processes, tools, templates, and governance models to ensure efficiency, repeatability, and quality across all finance projects. Monitor progress and performance of finance transformation initiatives through an agreed-upon cadence and reporting structure. Evaluate value realization and adoption of finance tools and technologies in collaboration with other transformation leads; provide data-driven recommendations for optimization or continued investment. Coordinate resource management by aligning project needs with available Finance resources, balancing workloads, and ensuring the right expertise is applied to the right initiatives. Develop and execute a portfolio-level change management and communication plan to support stakeholder engagement and successful adoption of transformation initiatives. What do you need to succeed? Cross-Functional Influence Serve as a trusted partner to Digital Technology (DT), the Finance Leadership Team, and brand stakeholders. Resolve tensions and navigate competing priorities with grace and authority. Change Leadership Drive adoption of new tools and processes with empathy and structure. Communicate change in a compelling way that brings stakeholders along the journey. Impact Measurement Define and track KPIs to demonstrate progress, value realization, and areas for improvement. Provide transparency to leadership through rigorous, timely reporting. Resource Optimization Balance team bandwidth, align skills with project needs, and make resource trade-offs thoughtfully. Anticipate constraints early and adjust execution plans accordingly. Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA or PMP certification preferred). 7+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3 years focused on finance transformation or enterprise change initiatives. Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment. Strong understanding of finance processes and systems (e.g., FP&A, R2R, P2P, ERP platforms). Proficiency with project portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira). Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills. Hiring Range: $116,000.00 USD - $145,000.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
