**Position Summary**
Work with various welding machines and equipment as a part of a welding assembly line. Operate welding equipment for end prep of pipe using techniques such as Stick, Mig, Wire, Air Arc, Trackwork, and Plasma
**Experience Level**
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**
Operates, preps, and sets various welding machines which includes Robot, NAP, and Cypress.
Works on will-call orders to layout specifications
Handles pipes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs; at times lifting repetitively and/or shuffling materials down an assembly line onto a layout table, welding stand, or cart/dolly
Performs air pressure test and visual inspections on welded piping to assure quality products
Uses basic reading and writing skills to interpret layout plans and labels
Works in a warehouse environment in hot and cold weather conditions, and with exposure to sparks and glares
**Qualifications**
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position and at least 1 year of basic welding experience
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.

Able to meet all physical requirements.
Must have all required tools
Able to work outdoors/inside of a warehouse in all weather conditions and be exposed to sparks and glares
Able to work overtime and weekends as required by the workload
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required
