Responsibilities:

As a member of the Advanced Technology and Signal Path Solutions team you support the development and of Oscilloscopes, Probes and Accessories. You will work closely with engineering and cross functional team members including Program Management, Marketing, Procurement, and Manufacturing to develop new, innovative Test & Measurement equipment. In addition, you will be responsible for sustainment and value add activities to a wide range of existing product offerings. You must have strong written and verbal skills and be capable of working professionally with others within and outside of your team.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

+ BSME or MSME

+ 5 + yrs. experience in electro-mechanical Product Design.

+ Ability to work with operations team and suppliers to optimize for manufacturability.

+ Comfortable engaging directly with customers regularly.

+ Understanding of production and assembly processes for electronic equipment.

+ Ability to design independently or within a small team.

+ Understanding and experience with Additive Manufacturing processes.

+ Be passionate about moving customer requirements into fully functioning mechanical assemblies.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

+ High proficiency with Creo & Windchill CAD SW. Experience with Creo Simulate desired.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools & excellent Excel skills.

+ Experience in prototyping, testing, and evaluating your own designs.

+ Thermal analysis of electronics enclosures.

+ Experience with Cadence Celsius Studio (Formerly 6SigmaET) CFD analysis package a plus.

+ Sheet metal design, fabrication, and assembly knowledge.

+ Practical experience performing tolerance analysis.

+ Strong understanding of material science and mechanical properties.

+ Experience designing cables, PCBs, plastic, and machined parts.

+ Experience with lasers and optical fibers a plus.

+ Experience creating tooling and fixtures

+ Knowledge of RF interconnect and shielding implementation.

+ Experience leading small projects.

+ Practiced use of basic statistics for design analysis and DOE.

+ The ability to travel (infrequent).

**Bonus or Equity**

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

**Pay Range**

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00

**Is this role subject to ITAR?**

The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
