Senior Electrical Engineer Substations/Substation File & Configuration Management Engineer

VDart Group is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Substation Engineer to join our team in Juno Beach, FL. In this critical role, you will lead engineering and document management efforts for newly constructed substations within our renewable energy fleet, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with industry and client standards.

• Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
• Duration: Long-Term Contract

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline (with applicable experience).
• 7+ years of experience in substation engineering , construction, or asset management.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance standards (NERC/FERC).
• Strong familiarity with asset management systems (Maximo) and document management systems (Documentum/D2).
• Demonstrated leadership in engineering process development and change management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems (solar, battery storage) is a plus.
• Expertise in Maximo and Documentum is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
