Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the Shipping Coordinator with outgoing and incoming shipments, including movement and staging of the items, loading trucks, and assisting with transportation arrangement. Will train to act as back-up to the Shipping Coordinator. This position is also responsible for maintaining the facility’s inventory, pulling inventory parts for orders, and assisting with cycle counts.

What you'll do :
- Organization of storage & inventory areas, designating product placement and staging, adjusting storage according to production and shipping requirements.
- Take responsibility of inventory in order to maintain an accurate inventory count and assist in monthly cycle counts.
- Package parts/equipment into appropriate shipping containers and prepare for shipment; load trucks.
- Assist Shipping Coordinator with shipping document preparation and coordination of transportation of shipments to/from customers or suppliers.
- Move equipment and parts using the fork truck, crane, or other material handling equipment
- Unload and receive deliveries, verify shipment and quantities are correct, identifying missing or incorrect items.
- Complete forms, routers and related paperwork
- Perform general housekeeping as needed for organization and safety.

What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Forklift experience required; certification a plus.
- Ability to multi-task in order to handle multiple assignments/tasks at one time
- Self-motivation, results oriented and dependability with organizational skills
- Basic computer skills: general data entry and documentation skills needed; Microsoft Outlook preferred; ERP experience a plus.
